Framed Fest 2024

“This July the first edition of FRAMED FEST will premiere site-specific concerts, performances and workshops as well as an exhibition of poems, held in Wasserturm (Prenzlauer Berg), Berlin’s oldest water tower that was the first water source for the city, a coal warehouse, and a shelter during World War II. The intricacies of its story can be felt upon entering the room — underground, cool and dark, with remnants of water and life — rendering itself a concrete reference of the potential for transformation. This space and its potential have been inspirational to FRAMED and as such the festival and program have been designed to reflect the relationship between the artists and performers and the physical space. …”
